21st officer of the Fort Atkinson Police Department sworn in
Vanessa Leonard comes to the department after many years at the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
Leonard is the first police officer to be sworn in after the passage of the Public Safety Referendum, earlier this year, allowing the department to hire two additional officers.
