Bicycle, e-Bike & e-Scooter Licensing: All bikes, e-bikes and e-scooters owned by residents of the City of Fort Atkinson are encouraged to obtain a license. Registration is $5.00 per unit. Our Officers find dozens of bikes each year and are able to quickly return those that are registered. Those that are not returned to their owner are sent to public auction.
Child Safety Seats
Drug/Crime Tip Line: A 24 hour tip line is available for person with information about criminal or drug activity. Callers may remain anonymous. You may be eligible for rewards if your call leads to arrest(s). Tip Line (920) 397-9907.
Drug Drop Box: Our department has a drug drop box located in the lobby. Citizens may stop 24 hours a day, 365 days a week to drop off unwanted prescriptions or drugs. The drug box is self service so there is no need to make an appointment or speak with anyone about dropping off items. PLEASE - NO SHARPS OR NEEDLES. There is no fee for this service. Fingerprinting Services: Fingerprinting services are available through the Department for any citizen of Fort Atkinson or by those applying for professional licenses employed within the City limits. In order to receive the service, you must present a photo ID. Please call for an appointment (920) 397-9905. Fee: City Resident $10.00 Non-Resident $15.00
Vacation Home Checks: We will retain information concerning departure and return dates of vacations resulting in vacant homes for a period of time. Persons wishing this service can visit the Police Department and fill out a short informational/contact sheet with departure and arrival dates. A local key holder and phone number will also be required for emergency purposes.
