Public invited to take Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation survey
The City of Fort Atkinson Parks and Recreation Department is inviting members of the community to participate in the creation of the City's first Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan. The plan serves to guide the continual improvement of the City's park, trails/paths, open space system, and programming.
The Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan helps to maintain the City's eligibility for state and federal grants.
“Tell us your ideas on how to improve our parks, trails, and recreation programming,” said Brooke Franseen, Parks and Recreation Director. “It’s important for the City of Fort Atkinson Parks and Recreation Department to offer comprehensive programming that is of interest to a variety of citizens from in and around Fort Atkinson.”
Residents can provide feedback via the online survey now through July 15, 2022: https://publicinput.com/FortAtkinsonSurvey.
Online responses are preferred; however, hard copies of the survey are also available at the Parks and Recreation Office, 30 N. Water Street – West and at the Fort Atkinson Senior Center, 307 Robert Street.
