K9 Smitty is on the road

Tuesday was K9 Smitty and Officer Lawrence's first patrol shift with the Fort Atkinson Police Department. Residents will now see the pair on the road. Smitty is a 1.5-year-old Malinois imported from Bulgaria and is trained in narcotics detection, tracking, evidence location, apprehension and handler protection.
