This is a project update for the USH 12 Resurfacing Project: Whitewater Avenue from Madison Avenue to CTH M (WisDOT Project 3575-02-73 . (Week of August 14, 2023)
Anticipated construction completion: Late August 2023
- TRAFFIC UPDATES:
- Week of 8/14/23 – CTH M to South 3rd Street
- Paving operations will continue on USH 12 from CTH M to South 3rd street to pave the surface lift starting Tuesday. Flagging operations will be utilized for traffic through the work zone in this area.
- USH 12 will remain open to local traffic. Flagging operations will occur all week from CTH M to South 3rd street. Expect Delays.
- Be aware of construction equipment in the area completing paving.
- USH 12 construction activities completed this week (Week of August 7)
- Paving of the bottom lift finished at the south end of the project.
- Sidewalk pours in areas that were not complete.
- Manholes and Inlets were adjusted as needed prior to surface paving.
- USH 12 Construction activities anticipated next week (Week of August 14)
- Paving operations will continue from CTH M to South 3rd Street to pave the surface lift of asphalt, beginning Tuesday.
- Permanent Pavement Marking operations after paving is complete.
- Outlook for the following weeks (August 21st and beyond)
- Finish any paving that as not completed the week prior.
- Finish any pavement markings that was not completed the week prior.
- All operations are weather dependent and subject to change.
