USH 12 Resurfacing Project: Whitewater Avenue from Madison Avenue to CTH M
- TRAFFIC UPDATES:
- USH 12 will remain open to traffic. Occasional Flagging operations.
- Be aware of construction equipment in the area completing sidewalk and curb work at each intersection.
- Pedestrian traffic will be detoured by signs, barricades and drums, as the NW corner of each intersection is currently being worked on.
- USH 12 construction activities were completed last week (Week of May 8th)
- Sidewalk and Curb removal at the NW corner of each intersection.
- Formed and poured the curb and some sidewalk (see attached pictures)
- Saw cutting of sidewalk and curb at all ramps that will be removed at a later date.
- USH 12 Construction activities anticipated next week (Week of May 15th)
- Pour the remaining sidewalk at the NW corner of each intersection.
- Remove forms and prep for placing asphalt patch in front of the curb
- Place asphalt patching in front of curb
- Restoration at sidewalks late in the week, possibly the week after.
- Outlook for the following week (Week of May 22nd)
- Once all NW corners are complete work will move to another corner (corner to be determined but will likely be the NE corner) of each intersection to remove and replace the sidewalk and curb.
- All operations are weather dependent and subject to change.
